Alistair is the former GM of Turners and Growers NZ having spent 20 years involved in sales, marketing, distribution , imports and exports in NZ’s largest horticultural company. Following his T&G career he spent 2 years as the COO of Freshmax NZ, were he restructured and realigned their Domestic fresh produce division. He has since been involved in multiple governance roles largely in the food sector. He has completed terms in the Egg, Honey and Bread sectors helping grow and reposition their respective businesses.  He is currently on the board of Turners Automotive Group, Director of Bartel Holdings Ltd and advisor to Foodchain, one of New Zealand’s largest food service businesses. He has been involved with the Darling group for 4 years initially Chairing Zeafruit and supporting management in JH Leavy. He joined the Darling Group board when Booster took a stake in the family business.
